Child Safety Policy

1. Our Child Safety Commitment

Entertainment casting sometimes involves child artists for age-appropriate roles in film, television, advertising and digital productions. CASTING CLUB supports legitimate, lawful participation of minors only when guardians are involved and industry safety norms are respected. We do not tolerate any use of our website, community channels, or entertainment talent network in India to exploit, sexualise, groom, traffic, or endanger children.

This Child Safety Policy explains prohibited conduct, guardian consent expectations, how to report concerns, how we respond (including immediate suspension), and how we cooperate with authorities. It applies to talent, parents and guardians, casting directors, production houses, agents, and any other user. It should be read with our Terms, Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy.

For purposes of this Policy, a “child” or “minor” generally means any person under 18 years of age, consistent with widely recognised child-protection standards and Indian legal frameworks applicable to children. Where a specific statute uses a different age threshold for a particular offence, we follow the stricter protective standard in practice.

2. Zero Tolerance Standard

CASTING CLUB maintains a zero-tolerance standard for child sexual exploitation and abuse. There is no “first warning” for CSAM, sexual solicitation of minors, or clear grooming behaviour. Such cases are treated as critical safety incidents. Accounts involved are subject to immediate suspension or permanent ban, content is removed from public view as quickly as practicable, and relevant information is preserved for lawful investigation.

Zero tolerance also covers attempts to circumvent safeguards — for example creating adult accounts to message minors privately about sexual topics, misrepresenting a child’s age, or instructing users to move conversations off-platform to avoid detection. Off-platform continuation of abuse that began through CASTING CLUB connections remains a violation when reported with credible evidence.

We will not bargain, delay or quietly reinstate accounts implicated in child sexual exploitation. Appeals in such cases are reviewed narrowly and will not restore access where risk to children remains.

3. No Child Exploitation

Child exploitation includes any conduct that uses a child for sexual, pornographic, trafficking, forced-labour, or other abusive purposes. Within a casting context, prohibited exploitation includes but is not limited to:

• Requesting sexual poses, nude or semi-nude images, or sexually suggestive auditions from anyone under 18.
• Offering roles, payment, gifts, career advancement or “industry connections” in exchange for sexual acts or sexual content involving a minor.
• Grooming — building trust with a child (or with guardians) to lower inhibitions for sexual abuse or exploitation.
• Using casting language as a cover for trafficking or unauthorised movement of children.
• Pressuring guardians to waive safety conditions, unsupervised travel with strangers, or secret communications with a child.
• Publishing or circulating a child’s personal contact details, school information, or home address in a manner that creates foreseeable risk.

Legitimate child artist casting must remain age-appropriate, guardian-supervised, and compliant with applicable labour and child-protection laws. Productions must not use CASTING CLUB to recruit minors for roles or activities that are sexual in nature.

4. No CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material)

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — sometimes referred to as child pornography in legal texts — means any visual, audio, or other depiction of a child engaged in real or simulated sexual activity, or any sexualised depiction of a child, including AI-generated, morphed, or digitally altered material that sexualises a minor. Possession, upload, download, distribution, solicitation, linking to, or trading of CSAM on or through CASTING CLUB systems is strictly prohibited and illegal.

Users must never upload portfolio images that sexualise minors. “Artistic” framing is not a defence for sexualised imagery of children. If you encounter CSAM, do not forward it to other users. Preserve what is needed for a report (for example a URL and timestamp) without creating additional copies for circulation, and contact us and appropriate authorities.

We treat morphs, deepfakes and AI-generated sexual images of minors as CSAM-equivalent for enforcement purposes on our services, regardless of whether a “real” child was photographed, because such material sexualises children and fuels harm.

5. Mandatory Reporting

CASTING CLUB is committed to mandatory internal escalation of child sexual exploitation and CSAM incidents. When our team becomes aware of apparent CSAM or credible child sexual exploitation connected to our services, we will take steps consistent with applicable Indian law — including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act framework and information technology / intermediary expectations where they apply — to report to the appropriate authorities and designated channels.

What users must do: If you become aware of CSAM, grooming, sexual solicitation of a minor, or exploitation tied to CASTING CLUB or CASTING CLUB-powered platform activity, you must report it promptly. Do not ignore it. Email castingclub3@gmail.com with the subject line CHILD SAFETY, and include:

• Username(s), profile links or account identifiers involved.
• URLs, message dates/times, and screenshots where safe to capture.
• Whether a child appears to be in ongoing danger.
• Your contact details so we can follow up if needed.

If a child is in immediate physical danger, call local police / emergency services first. You may also report cybercrime through official Indian channels such as the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) where appropriate. Our internal report does not replace a police complaint when a crime has occurred; we encourage guardians and reporters to file official complaints in parallel for serious offences.

Staff and operators reviewing reports will escalate confirmed or strongly suspected CSAM/exploitation cases without requiring the reporter to re-prove harm through prolonged back-and-forth. Good-faith reporters will not be penalised. Knowingly filing false child-safety accusations to harass a rival, however, is itself a serious Community Guidelines violation.

6. Guardian Consent

Minors may participate in legitimate casting activity on entertainment talent network in India only with verifiable guardian (parent or legal guardian) consent. Guardians are expected to:

• Supervise account creation and profile content for the child artist.
• Approve applications to casting opportunities.
• Attend or arrange appropriate supervision for auditions, callbacks and shoots as required by law and production safety norms.
• Control who may contact the child about casting, and keep communications professional.
• Never consent to sexualised imagery, unsupervised private meetings with unknown adults for “portfolio tests,” or travel arrangements that place a child at unreasonable risk.

Casting directors and production houses posting roles for minors must state age ranges accurately, require guardian involvement, and avoid collecting more personal data from children than needed for casting. They must not instruct minors to communicate secretly without guardians.

CASTING CLUB may request additional verification of age or guardian authority when risk indicators appear. Failure to provide reasonable verification may result in restriction of minor-related features or removal of the profile. Guardians who discover an account created without consent should contact castingclub3@gmail.com immediately for takedown and review.

7. Immediate Suspension

Upon receiving a credible report or detecting clear signals of CSAM, sexual solicitation of minors, grooming, or related exploitation, CASTING CLUB will pursue immediate suspension of the implicated account(s) and rapid removal of offending content from public visibility. Immediate suspension means access can be cut before a lengthy appeal dialogue, because child safety outweighs convenience.

During suspension we may:

• Lock login sessions and prevent new applications or messages.
• Hide or delete public profile media and listings tied to the violation.
• Preserve server logs, message metadata and reported content for lawful investigations.
• Notify CASTING CLUB platform operators as needed so enforcement covers accounts, profiles and applications powered through that partnership.
• Refuse new accounts from the same person or organisation when ban evasion is suspected.

Users who attempt to create replacement accounts after a child-safety suspension will face permanent network-level exclusion when identified. Guardians of child accounts suspended for reasons unrelated to exploitation (for example incomplete verification) will receive guidance on remediation where appropriate.

8. Law Enforcement Cooperation

CASTING CLUB cooperates with law enforcement agencies and authorised child-protection authorities investigating child sexual abuse, CSAM, trafficking or related crimes. Cooperation may include responding to lawful requests, preserving evidence, providing available account and log information subject to applicable law, and maintaining a clear internal point of contact for urgent matters.

We may proactively notify authorities when we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or imminent offline harm to a child connected to our services. We will not tip off suspected offenders in a manner that would foreseeably destroy evidence or endanger a child.

International requests will be handled in accordance with Indian law and applicable mutual legal assistance processes. Nothing in this Policy requires us to violate law; where legal process is required for certain disclosures, we will follow that process while still taking platform enforcement actions (suspension, removal) that do not depend on external clearance.

9. Safety Reporting Channels

We may not share full investigative details, especially when law enforcement is involved or when disclosure could compromise a child’s safety. 10. Prevention, Education and Design Expectations

Prevention is part of safety. CASTING CLUB promotes professional norms that reduce risk: guardian-first workflows for minors, clear Community Guidelines against adult sexual content and scams, and public education that “pay for a child role” and “send private photos to confirm casting” are red flags. We encourage productions to use official channels, published call sheets, and documented guardian consent rather than informal pressure.

Users should teach young performers (age-appropriately) that they can refuse uncomfortable requests, that guardians must be informed, and that real casting professionals do not require secrecy from parents. Keep personal addresses and school names off public profiles. Prefer professional contact routed through guardians.

As our talent network and CASTING CLUB-powered platform services evolve, we may add further age-gating, messaging restrictions between adults and minors, or verification steps. Users must comply with those controls and must not coach others to bypass them.

11. Roles and Responsibilities

CASTING CLUB provides the public-facing talent network and community, publishes this Policy, receives safety reports, coordinates enforcement, and partners with CASTING CLUB so account-level suspensions and removals can be effected on platform services.

CASTING CLUB securely powers user accounts, profiles, applications and related platform operations. Child-safety enforcement on those systems is coordinated through our partnership so harmful accounts cannot simply continue unchecked after a report on CASTING CLUB surfaces.

Guardians supervise minor participation and consent.

Casting professionals post only age-appropriate opportunities and never sexualise minors.

All users must report suspected exploitation and refrain from any prohibited conduct.

12. Data Handling in Safety Cases

Safety investigations may involve processing personal data of reporters, alleged offenders and, carefully, minors. We process such data to protect children, enforce policies, and comply with law, as further described in our Privacy Policy. We minimise unnecessary exposure of a child’s data during reviews. Evidence retained for law enforcement may be kept longer than ordinary account data. Do not submit highly sensitive medical records of a child unless specifically relevant and requested for a case.

13. False Reports and Retaliation

Good-faith reports are vital. Retaliation against someone for filing a good-faith child-safety report is prohibited. Conversely, deliberately false accusations of CSAM or exploitation made to damage a competitor’s career will result in enforcement against the false reporter and may be referred for legal action. If you made a mistake in a report, notify us promptly with corrections.
