Community Guidelines
Standards that keep CASTING CLUB a professional, respectful and trustworthy entertainment talent network and community — with clear policies and direct contact support.
Last Updated: July 12, 2026
CASTING CLUB exists so actors, models, casting directors, production houses and entertainment professionals can connect with confidence. These Community Guidelines apply to everyone who uses our public website, community resources,. Violations may lead to content removal, suspension, permanent bans and, where appropriate, reports to law enforcement.
1. Our Community Purpose
CASTING CLUB is a public-facing talent network and community focused on legitimate entertainment opportunities and professional networking across India. We expect honesty about roles and projects, respect in communication, protection of minors, and zero tolerance for exploitation, scams and abuse. The same behavioural standards apply to all contact with CASTING CLUB, including phone, email, WhatsApp and forms.
These Guidelines work together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Child Safety policy. If something is prohibited here, it is also a breach of our Terms.
2. Prohibit Fake Auditions
Posting fake, fabricated or deliberately misleading auditions is strictly prohibited. This includes inventing production titles that do not exist, advertising roles you have no authority to cast, fabricating celebrity attachments to attract applicants, or listing opportunities solely to harvest personal data, photos or contact details.
Legitimate casting posts must describe the project type, role expectations, location or remote requirements, and any known compensation structure with reasonable clarity. If details are still being finalised, say so honestly. Do not use “confirmed big banner” language you cannot substantiate. Talent who discover fake auditions should report them immediately to castingclub3@gmail.com with screenshots and links.
Repeated or severe fake-audition activity will result in immediate suspension, permanent removal of casting privileges, and possible referral to authorities when fraud or identity theft is involved.
3. Prohibit Spam
Spam wastes community trust. You must not flood profiles, messages, comments or opportunity listings with repetitive promotional text, unrelated affiliate links, malware links, or mass unsolicited outreach. Automated scraping of talent contact details for bulk messaging is forbidden.
Reasonable professional follow-ups about a specific application are acceptable; carpet-bombing hundreds of users with the same pitch is not. Marketing of third-party products unrelated to casting or entertainment careers does not belong on CASTING CLUB. We may rate-limit messaging, remove spam content and suspend accounts that treat the network as a bulk advertising channel.
4. Prohibit Fraud
Fraudulent schemes of any kind are banned. Examples include advance-fee fraud (“pay to guarantee a role”), fake training institutes that exist only to extract money, counterfeit payment requests, phishing for OTPs or passwords, and misrepresentation of casting authority to obtain money or intimate images.
CASTING CLUB will never ask you to send money to a personal UPI ID of an employee to “confirm selection.” Treat such requests as fraud red flags. If you are unsure whether a payment request is legitimate, pause and email castingclub3@gmail.com before paying anyone.
Users found conducting fraud face permanent bans and may be reported to cybercrime units and other competent authorities.
5. Prohibit Harassment
Harassment includes unwanted sexual advances, repeated contact after a request to stop, targeted insults based on caste, religion, gender, language, disability or appearance, doxxing, and coordinated pile-ons intended to silence someone. Professional critique of an audition performance in an appropriate casting context is different from personal attacks.
Casting conversations should remain focused on skills, availability and role fit. Talent and recruiters alike must keep communications professional. Off-platform harassment that begins from connections made through CASTING CLUB may still lead to enforcement if reported with credible evidence.
6. Prohibit Threats
Threats of violence, sexual violence, blackmail, reputational ruin, or illegal harm are strictly prohibited. “Pay me or I will leak your photos” and similar coercion is both a Guidelines violation and potentially a criminal offence. We treat credible threats as emergencies: expect immediate suspension, evidence preservation and cooperation with law enforcement.
Even hyperbolic “jokes” that place another user in reasonable fear of harm may be removed and sanctioned. If you receive a threat, do not engage; document it and report to us and, where appropriate, to local police.
7. Prohibit Adult Content
CASTING CLUB is a professional entertainment network, not an adult content marketplace. Pornography, explicit sexual imagery, fetish casting framed as exploitation, and non-consensual intimate imagery are prohibited. Suggestive portfolio images that are customary for fashion or film (for example standard swimwear or artistic stills within industry norms) may be acceptable when relevant to the role and not pornographic; when in doubt, keep profiles workplace-appropriate.
Requests that talent send nude images as a condition of casting consideration are banned. Report such requests. Productions with legitimate intimate-scene requirements must follow professional protocols, consent practices and applicable law — and must never use CASTING CLUB to solicit CSAM or exploit minors.
8. Prohibit Illegal Content
You may not upload, link to, or distribute content that is illegal under Indian law or that promotes illegal activity. This includes drug trafficking solicitations, weapons trafficking, terrorism-related content, stolen data dumps, and instructions primarily designed to facilitate crime.
Child sexual abuse material and any sexual content involving minors is illegal and subject to our zero-tolerance Child Safety policy. We will remove such content, suspend accounts immediately, preserve evidence where required, and report to appropriate authorities.
9. Prohibit Copyright Violations
Upload only media and text you have rights to use. Do not steal another actor’s headshots, showreels or résumé claims. Do not post studio logos, film stills or music tracks as if they were your own promotional assets when you lack licences. Casting posters must not copy another production’s creative materials in a way that misleads applicants.
If you believe your copyright is infringed on CASTING CLUB surfaces, email castingclub3@gmail.com with identification of the work, the infringing URL or description, and a statement of good-faith belief. We will review and take down material where appropriate. Repeat infringers may lose account privileges.
10. Prohibit Impersonation
Impersonating a person, casting director, production house, brand, or CASTING CLUB staff is forbidden. Creating a profile with someone else’s photos or name, or posing as an official support agent to obtain passwords, is a serious violation.
Parody or demo accounts, if ever allowed, must be clearly labelled; unmarked impersonation is not parody. Verified or official designations, where offered, must not be faked. Impersonation used to commit fraud will be escalated aggressively.
11. Prohibit Scams
Casting-related scams are unfortunately common in the entertainment industry. CASTING CLUB prohibits all scam patterns, including:
- Guaranteed role offers in exchange for payment.
- “Registration,” “portfolio,” or “file opening” fees demanded through unofficial personal accounts.
- Job offers that require sharing remote-access apps, OTP codes, or banking credentials.
- Romance or grooming schemes that begin as casting chat.
- Fake overseas contracts designed to extract passport copies and deposits.
Educate yourself and your network. When something feels rushed, secretive or money-first, step back. Report scams with evidence so we can protect others in the community.
12. Prohibit Abuse
Abuse covers a broad set of harmful behaviours: verbal abuse, sexual abuse solicitation, technical abuse (attacks on infrastructure), and abuse of reporting tools (false reports filed to harass rivals). Using the platform to groom, coerce or endanger anyone — especially minors — is an extreme form of abuse and triggers Child Safety protocols.
Technical abuse includes DDoS attempts, credential stuffing, injecting malicious code into profile fields, and attempting to bypass security or moderation systems. Such activity may be logged and reported.
13. Prohibit Multiple Accounts
One person or organisation should maintain only the accounts reasonably needed for legitimate use. Creating multiple accounts to evade suspensions, artificially inflate applications, manipulate rankings, abuse referral bonuses, or harass others after a ban is prohibited.
Production houses may operate role-based seats where the platform supports team accounts; that is not a loophole for ban evasion. If you lost access to a legitimate account, contact support for recovery instead of opening duplicates. We may merge, restrict or terminate duplicate accounts and apply the original penalty to related identities when ban evasion is detected.
14. What We Encourage
Alongside prohibitions, we encourage: accurate profiles; clear casting briefs; timely, respectful communication; mentoring that does not exploit; reporting safety issues; and professional disagreements handled without personal attacks. A healthy talent network helps India’s entertainment industry work better for everyone.
15. Consequences and Enforcement
Enforcement is proportionate to severity, intent, history and harm. Possible consequences include:
- Warning — for first-time, low-severity issues where education may suffice.
- Content removal — deleting posts, media, messages or casting listings that violate these Guidelines.
- Feature limits — temporary restriction on messaging, posting or applying.
- Suspension — temporary loss of account access while we investigate.
- Permanent ban — for severe, repeated or high-risk violations (fraud, CSAM, threats, ban evasion).
- Legal referral — sharing relevant information with law enforcement or regulators when required or appropriate.
We may act on user reports, proactive detection, external complaints. We are not obligated to provide a detailed investigative file to the reported party where doing so would compromise safety or ongoing investigations. Where feasible, we notify users of enforcement actions and offer a path to appeal by emailing castingclub3@gmail.com with your account identifier and explanation.
Appeals are reviewed in good faith but do not guarantee reinstatement. Attempting to circumvent a ban violates these Guidelines and may extend penalties.
16. How to Report
Report violations to castingclub3@gmail.com or through any in-product reporting tools available on platform services. Include URLs, usernames, screenshots, dates and a brief description. For child safety emergencies, see our Child Safety policy and contact us immediately with “CHILD SAFETY” in the subject line. Phone: 7842046244.
